How It Started

September, 2010
Humble Beginnings

Jaden Easton grew up in the suburbs of British Columbia, Canada. From a very young age, he was fascinated with the internet. When he was 12 years old his elementary school teacher taught his class how to build basic websites. While most of his friends were goofing off, he vividly remembers thinking to himself, “so you’re telling me I can create a piece of virtual real-estate for little to no cost and anyone with an internet connection can access it? This is HUGE!” After school, he asked his parents to take him to the nearest bookstore so he could buy a book on web design. It started him down a path that forever would change the course of his life.

$500,000 In High School

He started creating websites for some of his parent’s close friends who owned their own businesses and then through word of mouth, he had a steady flow of new clients coming in.

When he got tired of designing websites for other people, he started a blog called iJailbreak on how to “jailbreak your iPhone” because he saw how popular it was at the time…it was a hit.

In his senior year of High School due to hard work and a little bit of luck, the site ended up serving over 150,000 views per day and he ended up generating $500,000+ in gross advertising revenue.

A New Chapter Begins

Eventually the popularity of jailbreaking died down and the blog began to fizzle out.

So, after graduating High School, Jaden pivoted and started an affiliate marketing business. Affiliate marketing is essentially where you market and sell someone else’s products and services in exchange for a commission.

Within a year he became a top affiliate, generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue, and was reached out to by the company owner Mark Hoverson who wanted to meet him in-person.

The Renaissance Man

Mark Hoverson, who at 25 lived in a trailer park with his pregnant wife and three children, at age 30 was now running a multi-million dollar online business and was a real life Renaissance Man. Upon meeting Mark, Jaden was impressed with his incredible relationship with his wife and children, and how he had hobbies and passions that lit him up outside of business. Within moments of meeting Mark in person, Jaden saw a vision for the type of life he wanted to live.

Mark also saw something special in Jaden and wanted to create an opportunity to work together. He said, “Hey, how would you like to bring your talents to the Hoverson empire? I’m building a dream team with two other young and bright marketing minds: Chris Stapleton and Landon Stewart. I’d like to groom you to become CEO”. So Jaden jumped at the opportunity, and Mark began to mentor him, along with Chris and Landon, in life and in business.

There was only one problem: Mark had Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer - the same type that killed Steve Jobs. “I’ve been told I only have 30 days to live, so we have to work fast”, he said. The first project they tackled for Mark was managing his Facebook™ group of 2,000 clients that he had generated online. So, Mark began to teach them how to speak, write, and rally a community.

It’s Always Sunny When You’re Making Money

Fast forward 12 months, they revived one of Mark’s stagnate brands and took it from zero to over $1 million in revenue, earning them their first two-comma club award. At the time, you would’ve never even known Mark was sick. The three of them were growing Mark’s businesses, eating luxurious dinners, and playing sports together. Mark loved to say, “It’s always sunny when you’re making money”, and he was right, life over the last 12 months had been really sunny for the three of them, until…

The Loss Of A Mentor

By 2018, Mark’s health began to rapidly deteriorate. Within the span of a few months, Mark had lost nearly 15 pounds as the cancer began to spread. Once a vibrant, young man, Mark became tragically bedridden. Without them having the guidance of their mentor, Mark’s businesses began to deteriorate. Without revenue coming in, their savings dwindled. Then it happened. In August of 2018, Mark Hoverson passed away. Crushed, they had no idea what they were going to do next. They took consulting clients to pay their bills and decided to step away from business for a while.

A New Era

By 2019, Jaden, Chris and Landon couldn’t ignore the persistent entrepreneurial voice in the back of their mind; they knew they wanted to get back into building businesses. They didn’t necessarily know where to start, but they did have one skill to lean on: they knew how to build wildly engaged Facebook™ groups.

So, they started their first group in January 2019 called Social Media Entrepreneurs. Their goal was to teach others what Mark had taught them. In less than 12 months, they grew that Facebook™ group from zero to 18,000 active and engaged members, and made a few hundred thousand in revenue from a handful of small offers.

$1 Million

Within a few short months, the company crossed its first $1 million in revenue. Soon after, Landon and Stapes bought their dream cars and Jaden moved into a stunning penthouse apartment. Life became sunny once again. Of course, plenty of new challenges began to pop up on a daily basis, but because of the adversity they had already faced, they were ready to take

$10 Million

It took 18 months for Client’s & Community to make its first million, and just 24 months to make $9 million more. By July 2022, C&C crossed $10 million cash collected as a company. On top of that, the Clients & Community Facebook™ group crossed 44,000 active and engaged members. The Clients & Community team has also grown to over 20 incredible staff members, and hosts over 1,200 amazing clients… and the best part is, those 1,200 clients have now earned over… $100 million. That’s not C&C’s revenue, that’s C&C’s client’s revenue - made up of hundreds of clients each making an extra $30,000, $50,000, even $100,000 per month from their Facebook™ groups.

$100 Million

Clients & Community has now helped 17 people make over one million dollars with their Facebook™ groups and that number continues to grow by 2-3 more each month. As grateful as Jaden, Chris and Landon are for all the success they’ve had, nothing lights them up more than seeing their clients go from rags to riches at record-breaking numbers.

Today

What’s Next?

It’s safe to say that Jaden Easton learned a lot of lessons operationally scaling Clients & Community…

…He did a lot of things right…

…but he also did a lot of things wrong, which cost him money, unnecessary stress and most precious of all- time.

Because of this Jaden Easton now directly consults on operations for other 6, 7 and 8-figure client-based businesses and helps them install the right technology and processes so they can scale their business without sacrificing their souls.
